What is Anthony Tiffith's net worth?
Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith is an American businessman and record executive who has a net worth of $150 million. Anthony Tiffith is best known for being the founder and CEO of the independent record label Top Dawg Entertainment. The label was founded in 2004 and has featured artists including Jay Rock, Schoolboy Q, SZA, Kendrick Lamar, and more. Most importantly, Tiffith and Top Dawg are credited with discovering and launching the career of Kendrick Lamar.
Tiffith is one of the most powerful and successful producer/managers in the music business today. Top Dawg Entertainment has had joint venture deals with other labels including Warner Bros. and Asylum Records. The record label Top Dawg Entertainment released the movie soundtrack "Black Panther: The Album" in 2018 which was executive produced by Anthony Tiffith and Kendrick Lamar. Other artists on the label include Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, Isaiah Rashad, Lance Skiiwalker, SiR, and Reason.
Top Dawg
Anthony Tiffith was born in April 1974.
Tiffith had been working in the music industry since the early 1990s, and he had a vision for creating a label that would give a platform to talented artists from the West Coast.
The label's first signing was Jay Rock, a rapper from Watts, California. Jay Rock had been making music since he was a teenager, and he had built up a following in the local hip-hop scene. Tiffith was impressed by Jay Rock's talent and his work ethic, and he signed him to TDE in 2005.
Discovering Kendrick Lamar
The company's turning point came in 2005 when Anthony Tiffith discovered Kendrick Lamar, then a talented 16-year-old rapper known as K-Dot. Recognizing Lamar's exceptional talent and potential, Tiffith took him under his wing. Lamar released a series of mixtapes under the label that gained local recognition. In 2010, he decided to drop the K-Dot name and started to use his birth name. The following year, Lamar released his critically acclaimed album "Section.80" under TDE, earning him international recognition and setting the stage for a major-label record deal.
In 2012, Kendrick released his second album, "Good Kid, M.A.A.D City." The album which featured the singles "Swimming Pools (Drank)" and "Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe," was a massive success, winning the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. Good Kid, M.A.A.D City helped to solidify Kendrick's status as one of the greatest rappers of all time, and it made TDE one of the most respected labels in the industry.
"To Pimp a Butterfly" (2015), his third studio album, earned him five Grammy Awards and was hailed as a masterpiece for its exploration of complex themes like institutional discrimination, self-love, and African American identity.
In 2017, Lamar released "DAMN.," which was another commercial and critical success. It won the Grammy for Best Rap Album, and its lead single "HUMBLE." won Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance.
Perhaps Lamar's most significant achievement came when "DAMN." was awarded the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for Music, making Lamar the first non-classical or jazz artist to win this prestigious award.
Kendrick left Top Dawg in August 2021. He announced his departure, which seems to have been amicable, with a message on his website that read:
"As I produce my final TDE album, I feel joy to have been a part of such a cultural imprint after 17 years. The Struggles. The Success. And most importantly, the Brotherhood. May the Most High continue to use Top Dawg as a vessel for candid creators. As I continue to pursue my life's calling. There's beauty in completion. And always faith in the unknown."

Real Estate
Anthony Tiffith owns at least $30 million worth of real estate that is discoverable via public record searches.
In 2014 he paid $6.7 million for a 9,000 square-foot home in a gated community in Calabasas. The seller was Mexican radio DJ Eddie "Piolin" Sotelo who bought the home for $5.9 million in 2006 and was attempting to fetch $7.5 million. Interestingly, this is the home that rapper Tyga claimed to have bought back in 2012. It turns out he was actually just renting the home from Sotelo. Sotelo ultimately was forced to sue Tyga after the rapper reportedly failed to pay around $124,000 in rent.
In 2016 Anthony Tiffith paid $3.4 million for Toni Braxton's home in the same Calabasas gated community.
In May 2020 Tiffith paid $11 million for a 13,000 square-foot hilltop mansion in Beverly Hills.
