Peyton List was born Peyton Roi List on April 6, 1998, in Florida. She grew up with mother Suzanne, father John, and her siblings, twin brother Spencer and younger brother Phoenix, are also actors. Peyton attended The Carroll School (P.S. 58) and the New Voices School for Academic and Creative Arts (M.S. 443) in New York City, then she graduated from California's Oak Park High School in 2016.
Career
Peyton had an uncredited role on "As the World Turns" in 2002, followed by another uncredited appearance in 2004's "Spider-Man 2." She guest-starred on "All My Children" in 2004, then appeared on "Late Show with David Letterman" (2005; 2008), "Saturday Night Live" (2007), and "Cashmere Mafia" (2008). List played the young version of Katherine Heigl's Jane Nichols in 2008's "27 Dresses," which grossed $162.7 million at the box office. Peyton graced the cover of the 2009 "American Girl" Back to School issue, and she modeled for the Justice clothing chain's magazine in 2011. Peyton was close friends with her "Jessie" co-star Cameron Boyce, and when he tragically passed away in 2019 after suffering a seizure, List stated on Instagram:

Cameron, I love you with every ounce of me, and I thank you for the time I had with you, being in my life, and being my brother forever and always.
