Tim Thomas net worth: Tim Thomas is an American professional ice hockey player who has a net worth of $20 million. Tim Thomas was born in Flint, Michigan in April 1974. He played for the University of Vermont from 1993 to 1997. Thomas was drafted #217 by the Quebec Nordiques in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft. Thomas played in the minor leagues and in Europe until finally signing with the Boston Bruins in 2005. The goaltender has also played for the Florida Panthers and Dallas Stars in the National Hockey League. He was won the Vezina Award twice for being the best goaltender in the league. Thomas played for Team USA in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, winning a Silver medal.

He won a bronze for the United States in the 1996 World Championships. He won a Stanley Cup with the Boston Bruins in 2011. He won the Conn Smythe Trophy for being the MVP of the 2011 Stanley Cup playoffs, becoming the oldest player in league history to do so at 37 years old. In 2011 he won the ESPY award for Best NHL Player. Thomas holds the records for most saves by a goaltender in a playoff run, and in a Stanley Cup finals series. He was the only Bruin not to attend a White House visit in 2012 due to his political beliefs. Tim and his wife Melissa have three children.
