Early Life

Ñengo Flow was born Edwin Rosa Vázquez Ortiz on October 15, 1981, in Río Piedras, San Juan, Puerto Rico. His mother's name is Vicky, and he has a sister named Maricely. He got his start in the music business in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, where he grew up. Ñengo Flow became interested in urban music at an early age, and when he was 14, he performed onstage for the first time in his neighborhood.

Career

Ñengo Flow's first release was a 2004 mixtape he recorded with friends and colleagues. The mixtape got the attention of Univision Music, and he was signed to the label. In 2005, Ñengo Flow released his debut album, "Flow Callejero," which featured the songs "Hasta Que Te Lo Hunda" and "Aunque No Estemos Juntos." He then released several mixtapes, such as 2007's "El Combo Que No Se Deja" and 2010's "La Verdadera Calle." Ñengo Flow also performed on the reggaeton compilation albums "Los Anormales" (2004) and "Sangre Nueva" (2005).

In 2011, he released the album "Real G 4 Life" on  Millones Records, and it featured collaborations with several artists, including De La Ghetto, Randy Glock, and Jory. Ñengo Flow released two albums in 2012, "Real G 4 Life 2" and "Real G 4 Life 2.5." "Real G 4 Life 2" included collaborations with Arcángel, Tego Calderón, Yomo, and Voltio, and it reached #75 on the "Billboard" Latin Albums chart and #7 on the Latin Rhythm Albums chart. He collaborated with J Alvarez, Jenay, Jory, Yomo, Gotay "El Autentiko," Alexis, and Zion on "Real G 4 Life 2.5," and the album reached #61 on the Latin Albums chart and #19 on the Latin Rhythm Albums chart. That year Ñengo Flow also appeared on the Ivy Queen album "Musa," performing on the tracks "La Killer" and "Real G4 Life."

In 2015, Ñengo Flow launched his own record label, Real G 4 Life Records, and released the album "Los Reyes del Rap" with Los G4 as well as the single "Moving Kilos," which featured French Montana. In 2017, he released the album "Real G 4 Life 3," and he appeared on the Kiubbah Malon album "El Final." In 2020, Ñengo Flow released the album "The Goat" and several singles, including "Gatita Gangster" (with Cazzu), "Universitaria," and "Vive y Deja Vivir" (with Alejandra Guzmán). In 2021, he collaborated on songs with Farruko, Dvice, Myke Towers, and Gaona, and in 2022, he released the singles "Delincuente" (with Tokischa and Anuel AA), "Chukiteo" (with Kiko El Crazy), and "Gato de Noche" (with Bad Bunny).
